Pure Joy Planet was founded in 1999 by Executive Master Chef, Elaina Love. Today she is an Instructor, Lifestyle and Detox Counselor, and Founder of Pure Joy Culinary Academy.
Elaina Love has become known worldwide for her extensive raw food demonstrations on youtube and internationally where she teaches a variety of raw vegan gourmet creations that focus on low sugar, low carb. Elaina's signature style is a ketogenic approach to vegan foods. She has facilitated a dozen 4-week raw vegan chef certification courses in Bali, Indonesia for 5 years and now still personally instructs at every single training in her new location in Bend, Oregon.
She is the author of 3 recipe books and 3 DVDs and has published recipes in a variety of the best raw food cookbooks to date. Her latest book "Raw and Beyond" is about the importance of Omega-3 oils, co-authored with Victoria Boutenko and Chad Sarno released in 2012. With a passion for sharing the knowledge she has attained through years of detoxing and cheffing experience, Elaina has helped people throughout the world bring about positive changes in their lives.
Her teaching and support empower people to lose weight and gain energy by making positive lifestyle choices and incorporating more living, raw food into their diet. In 2014, her much anticipated Level 1 Raw Chef Certification ONLINE Course debuted. It is currently available through Pure Joy Academy's Online Academy found here. Elaina is the creator of the Amazing Nut Milk Bag, which is sold and used worldwide as an integral kitchen tool for raw foodies, vegans and anyone wishing to make their own creative plant-based milk. Teaching Background: Elaina has been teaching raw food courses and giving talks worldwide since 1998. She was an Executive Chef and Chef Instructor at the renowned Living Light Culinary Arts Institute from 2000-2010. Elaina has been invited to teach classes all over the world and has taught courses and provided raw, vegan meals at many events and retreats, including those for David Wolfe, Dr. Gabriel Cousens, M.D. of The Tree of Life, Living Light Culinary Arts Institute and much more.

Elaina Love has also opened up a 100% Gluten-Free, Plant-Based Eatery in Bend, Oregon.
Pure Joy Kitchen was created to bring the foods that we teach in our culinary academy to the community. Our Organic Whole Foods Eatery in Bend is dedicated to teaching you how to use food as medicine, to uplift the spirit and help you experience more Pure Joy! We are committed to sourcing organic, sustainable, fair trade, local, whole foods! We do not use any fillers, additives, gluten, or processed sweeteners.
As part of our contribution to the Bend community, we will provide organic sustainable foods, give nutrition talks, facilitate movie nights, social gatherings, and weekend retreats.
