Our premium stevia is the only one we use at Pure Joy Academy and in all of our recipes. It is fermented so it is naturally white and doesn't have that bitter aftertaste.
Stevia is a zero glycemic sweetener which means it won't spike the blood sugar so it is safe for diabetics. It is 300 times sweeter than sugar by volume so a little bit goes a long way! For 1 cup of sugar use about 1/4 tsp. stevia.
We use it in smoothies to add a boost of sweetness, especially if you want to cut down on fruits. It is great it anything you would use another sweetener in. Since it is white, it won't turn your recipe a different color like coconut or brown sugar can. Use our sweet stevia as a flavour booster. Cut down on dates by adding a pinch of stevia. You're family won't even know the difference!
